Have thoroughly enjoyed going through the questions in this book with our grandsons ( 8 and 9 ) and we have encouraged them to reason out what they think the answers could be before we give them each of the answers from the book. We have been amazed at how well they could grasp truth from scripture without over complicating or over analyzing the texts. We have all gained a better understanding of these simple yet complex answers to weighty questions many adults wrestle with. Truly the bible is simple enough for children to understand and reason out on their own...yet complicated enough to baffle the minds of the most brilliant scholars and scientists. We would all do well to approach the Word of God in a manner more like a child does. Looking forward to going through next volumes in the series. Grateful.
If you are looking for lots of pictures etc, this is not the book for you. It has great questions that I've never even thought of and has insightful and biblically based answers. I'm not sure if this book is more fun for the parent or child.
This is a good book with good questions/answers for my kids. I just didn't realize (even though it says) that it's a very small book - 6x6, so my expectation was a little different. We use it at the dinner table to promote good, education conversations...
I'm a father of 3 and I read this to my kids at night. They enjoy me reading the questions and asking them if they know the answers. It's a great book to get kids interested in the bible and especially Genesis which holds the answers for so many questions kids, teenagers and adults have today. I would recommend this and the other volumes.
This is a great book for the Kiddos. It tells about God's creation of the dinosaurs from the Bible's perspective. A must read for all Christian families.
This book is a huge blessing to people of any age, but especially to children people. In a world in which evolution has become a god of it's own, this book helps people of faith find solid answers to why their faith is superiors to the false god of evolution. Parents should buy this book and read it with their children.
Geared for children age 6-12 this features 20 questions from children around the world that touch on such topics as bee stingers, talking animals, Cain's wife, and the status of Satan. It gives a name to each child that asks a question, their age and location along with the photo of a child and something that pertains to the question along with Bible verses. Insightful and colorful. Fun.
I purchased this book as a gift for my 11 year old. While the book itself is good, it's definitely geared towards a much younger audience. It says on the cover it's for ages 6-12 but I'd recommend more like 6-9.
