I was hoping this book would have a Spanish translation like others can have. But it only has a few snip it's here and there, like the show. More content would have been better, but then again it is right before bedtime... My Daughter aged 3 likes it of course, like the flaps. It's engaging and she'll yell out "yay" when we come to the last page. I do like how the pages are all a glossy variation of the cover, which some of the books I have found have a craft paper feel to them. Those sturdier constructed ones were equipped with flaps though.Overall 3 stars for getting the job it's supposed to do done.
We love it. Can tailor to sleepiness of your child and get through quickly or take your time and go through what else is on the page. We love to count down the animals in English and Spanish, too. I went on business trip so bought second copy to FaceTime and read.
Love this book for my Dora loving two year old daughter. I love that the text is consistent with a Dora show, the lift flaps, bright colors and the perfect length and content for a toddler. Highly recommend!
My daughter has to read it every before she will fall asleep. She likes to do the flip while i read it. She never seems to get tired of it
My daughter loves this book! The only thing she asks for is Swiper, who is not in this one. Other than that, it's a sweet story - she likes it when we do the animal sounds and lift the flaps. If your daughter loves Dora, she will love this book!
The book focuses on what is under the flaps and does not have much of a story, but my 3 year old granddaughter loved the "flaps" part best anyway. The book does highlight "animals" (bees, frogs, etc) and associates them with their sounds.
this book is short enough to read to my toddler several times in one night. it's not all in spanish, but the names of the animals is. so when i read it, and i say the animal in english, my toddler will say it in Spanish. so cute. glad i bought it in a bundle with the purple backpack and boots beanie baby.
Great book with flaps. My 2 year old loved it! She now says buenas noches when she goes to bed!
