I have done the Book of James Bible study from Lifeguide Bible Studies. So when a friend wanted to meet and do a Bible study on Romans, I knew that Romans: Becoming New in Christ: 19 Studies in 2 Parts for Individuals or Groups would be the right one. We have completed the first two chapters of Romans. This study offers in-depth questions that require much thinking instead of merely jotting down answers. I really like the way some of the longer chapters are divided into two lessons so that I do not feel overwhelmed by too many questions all at once. My friend and I have had some excellent discussions doing the first three lessons . The way Lifeguide Bible Studies are set up creates in me a curiosity to explore more deeply a particular book of the Bible. I am very pleased to have ordered this Bible study from .com. There are two Christian bookstores in my area, but their prices are rather high for the Lifeguide Study books. I've noticed that  appears to carry all of the Bible studies in the Lifeguide series so I will have years of study ahead of me. Another thing that I like about this series is that many of the questions are designed to be answered in ways that apply to my life.
This book has been helpful in my personal devotions. I have been surprised at the depth that some of the questions allow me to explore, but I certainly have to supplement this resource with commentaries and other studies to ensure the questions and interests I have are adequately met and answered.
This book has proven helpful during our weekly small group meetings. Some of the questions are so similiar that it seems like we are giving the same answers each time. Otherwise, we really like this book.
We have been using this book in a small group, and it is quite thought provoking. This book is worthy, whether the group has beginners or seasoned students of the Bible.
We are just beginning the Romans study. The study is well written, asks thoughtful questions and is good for additional conversation about the Apostle Paul.
We used this for Bible School. Some people are continuing their study of it at home. I recommend this study book for its biblical faithfulness and thoughtful approach to the book of Romans.
I love this series for Bible study and use it for leading Wed. night Bible study group as well as my personal study time. I highly recommend it!
