The Female Force graphic novel series has covered influential women "who are shaping modern history and culture," So, I've talked about my obsession with educational comics here before. I love comics as an art form and a communication tool. And I love following Blue Water Comics' Female Force series, in which the biographies of famous women are told in words and pictures. The series really shines with its political figure titles, which offer a balanced look at their subject matter. And that has to do with Neal Bailey, who authored most of them. Aside from the Female Force titles, they're releasing other biographical series that make for interesting reading. Loved learning about Hillary in this different format!

This is a very good comic book biography of Hillary Clinton. The author chooses to tell her story from his perspective and it gives the story life. The author, Neal, isn't the biggest fan of Hillary at first. She once ran a campaign to ban Grand Theft Auto and that was offensive to him. But learning more about her, he finds a lot to respect and only a little to get upset about. Neal does a great job giving Hillary's life a comic book edge and appeal. He accomplishes it quite well and it is apparent that he became very respectful of his subject and even liked her after doing research and writing her story. Nice.

Have a great day!
