I loved the first book of this series (Aundy) and loved it so much I read it twice. Based on how much I loved the first book in this series, (which I was able to get for free) I went ahead and bought this second book and the third book in the series (which for me is a huge compliment to the author because I never, ever pay for books). Unfortunately I was very disappointed by this book and frankly I didn't think it was worth the $2.99 I spent on it. I forced myself to finish reading it simply because I had paid for it and because I wanted to write a thorough review.There were two main reasons why I didn't enjoy this book: I didn't love the main characters and the story line was boring and illogical. Caterina was very impulsive and had way too short of a temper for a 22 year old woman. If the author had made her 17 or 18, I would have been more accepting of her immature and childish behavior. I also didn't like Kade and how he treated Caterina, particularly in the first half of the book. He was a jerk and a brute and in many ways no better than Luigi from the mafia.
