Ebooks Online

The Civil War has ended, and the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Railroads are locked in a high-stakes competition to link the eastern states with their western counterparts. Jordana Baldwin's writing catches the attention of an eastern newspaper, and she takes on the guise of a man to report on the progress of the rail line...and to spy for the Central Pacific. She continues to correspond with Captain Rich O'Brian, who now works for the Union Pacific. When they meet again, romantic sparks fly, but Rich's past still looms between them. Will competing interests keep Jordana and Rich apart...or bring them together?

This whole series is amazing. I am so happy I found it on accident, I read all 3 books in one weekend. I could. not. stop! Its intriguing, you never know what's on the next page, and the historical aspect adds a value that you can't find in most books.

The book i think was the best of all three. Really, it helps to know that the authors believe in God and that they can weave him into a book. You could almost make it an adventure book and a religious one too and that is what makes me feel good reading this book. This also ties it up and that way you won't have to wait for them to make the next one which i hate to wait. But this is an excellent book and i would recommend it to anyone.

I read this book in 3 days. I had a hard time putting it down. It felt like you were in the story with the people that were in it. I felt like I had read the story before. But I looked at all the books I had and I didn't have it. It stayed right along with the first two in the series. It was good way to end the series. I'm happy that Jordana and Rich found each other in the end. They were suppose to be together. As always Tracie Peterson writes a very good book. Keep up the with the good books!! I'm looking forward to maybe a series with RICH AND JORDANA AS THE MAIN PEOPLE IN THE BOOK. I'M kind of sorry the series ended. I'm happy to have another series finished. Now I move onto the next series to finish

A great series. I enjoyed the stories of the Baldwin family.Since I am a bit of history nut, it was an enjoyable and enlightening look of how the transcontinental railroad came about. It was fascinating. The romance and intriguing lives of the Irish immigrants, the Chinese immigrants was so engaging. The ending was so comforting. The Christian attitude was a warm and understandable. Each book is a great one on its own merit.Read and enjoy!

This story was historical, exciting, and funny. I was on the edge of my seat. My heart and mind was laughing and thinking how awesome our God is. It's a must read. The whole series is worth five stars.

I absolutely loved all three of the books in this series! The characters were fun-loving and enjoyable. They all were amazing in their own special way and the problems and feelings they faced were very realistic! I love that these books talked about God and the writer seemed to have very good views on the subject.......I only wish there were more books in the series!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The only weakness was the manner in which both couples went through similar communication problems as their relationships developed. That was too redundant. Otherwise I can only sing the praises of this series.

From the first page of every Tracy Peterson book, I can't put it down. By the time I finish a series I am sad to see it end because I feel like I am loosing friends. I want to know "the rest" of their story. Tracy definitely has a God given talent that I am so happy to see her using to the fullest. I love how informative and historically correct she is. And she always gives the plan of salvation! What else can I say...I'm obviously a fan for life!
