I want to LOVE this book. Capoeirstas NEED books like this to help encourage and inform children. However, the book that I received is missing pages 19-22. I'm so sad. Are all copies defected?**UPDATE** contacted the publisher and was able to send me a second copy with ALL of the pages within 2 days! :) is awesome, and so is this book!!! Awesome artwork. I was recommended the book by a Capoeira friend. I got my copy while attending a Capoeira event.A community book by and for the Capoeira fellows.My daughter has been fascinated by Capoeira dancers.Buying the book was an opportunity for me to spend quality time with her telling a story around a subject she has great interest for.The illustrations are stunning, the story captivating.Illustrations :Those are detailed and colorful. No doubt the authors are practitioners and spent the time to do their homework and research.Pastels colors are real pleasant. Face expressions of the characters well in line the story. Luis, Ana and Daniel are friendly. The book made my daughter connect with them quickly and jump into the story.The story :It's a comic book. The story is well written and articulated. It offers a simple and pleasant journey in the world and history of Capoeira. Some research has been done, yet the story is told like a charm.Quick read and re-read. The book stands in my daughter room. We pick it again from time to time to re-run this enjoyable story.
