A great short story full of continuous action, with a few surprises for the followers of the Young Samurai, but also very enjoyable for those not so familiar with the series.
For all fans of the Young Samurai series, this short story will appeal to all. Rife with action the story follows Jack at a training session out of the ordinary. It'll grip you from start to end and will only let you go once the final word has been read.
When I started reading this book I found it a bit rough. This is probably because the book is a short story and was originally made as a small extra. In the end, I still found it worth the price, and thats why I would rate it a solid 5 star.
For a short story, this was a fantastic book. Whilst Bradford kept to the theme and atmosphere of the rest of the series, he has managed to compact one of his stories down into a book that most people will finish in less than an hour. The story had a good plot and some of the intense action that Young Samurai fans will love. My only criticism is that the book ended a bit too abruptly for my liking.
It was a good story with a good timeline . Short and sweet an easy read . It tied in nicely with the young samurai series and added extra info to stimulate my curiosity again .
