The pictures of babies around the world captivated my son from 6 months until at least 18 months, and he still likes to look at it now at 2.5. Highly recommend this book and the "American Babies" one as well.
My baby girl just LOVES looking at all the babies. She cries when the book goes away. I will be ordering more of this series.This spanish version has the words in both Spanish and English, which could be useful for learning when she is old enough to start reading.
Wonderful way to introduce different cultures to your baby. She loves looking at the great pictures and colors of the clothing and scenery included in each page. Makes a great gift that most people would love but maybe would not find in a store.
Hands down, my daughter has loved this book more than any other she's read. Granted, she's barely 14 months, but still! Time and again, this is the book that holds her interest the longest and quiets her down when she's fussy. The photos and simple text are appealing to babies and the adults tasked with repeated readings. I've purchased this several times to include in gift baskets for first time mothers, and so far, all of them have raved that their baby is just as glued to it as mine has been.
This is a must have book in every child's library. Both my daughter and son enjoyed this book as toddlers in this age group tends to LOVE babies. The babies pictured in this book are beautiful representing a variety of cultural backgrounds. My children loved the clothing on the babies and the mothers, and it allowed me to start the discussion about how babies are born all over the world and look different but are still special. I highly, highly, highly recommend this book for cultural diversity reasons and because the photography is gorgeous, the colors are brilliant, and toddlers love seeing pictures of other babies & toddlers!!!
My little one LOVES this book! All the baby faces are just enthralling, and it's great that the book is multilingual and that it identifies the different countries in which the pictured babies live. It makes the book enjoyable for both baby and reader!
Se lo mostre a una bebe de 5 meses que no podia parar de mirarlo a los bebes le encanta ver otros bebes y este libro capto su atención, ademas muestra diferencias raciales y las agrupa como una igualdad asi que tambien enseña valores
This was the first book we read to our baby. It's perfect for new little ones as faces are the first thing they focus on, and these are some wonderful faces from around the world. The lilting words, both in English and Spanish coupled with bright, colorful pictures make this a perfect first book. It's still a favorite a year and a half later. We've sent it to many friends!
