After receiving this book for one of my children, I purchased this for a one-year-old family friend. Her parents were thrilled with the message. This book is well illustrated and is a good way to teach children the importance of being friendly. Love this book.
This book is great for teaching good interactions with others. A couple of the pages seem a little redundant, but I love that we can say "How can you be friendly?" in situations and they remember how they are supposed to behave.
This book and the others in the "You are Series" are great tools to empower children. They teach children the importance of being who they are and to accept the differences in others. A great read for the family or a school setting. The earlier kids feel special, the more they will feel they can do. And, the more likely they will want to help others feel the same way. These books help with that!
Perfect for my preschoolers. Held their attention with bright illustrations and simple, but thoughtful text. Prompted wonderful discussions of how to be a friend!
