compare to another one, welcome to mamoko, this one is just ok to me. my girl love the welcome one, but not very interested in this one. the stories about each character are not vivid. maybe it's too difficult for her to understand? i should try again a few months later. but she can search for the coins in this book, which is nice.i bought 3 mamoko book, but the welcome to mamoko is the best and our favorite.
This series is so, so cool! There is so much to see on each page that it will keep a child busy for awhile. I also love the idea of making up your own story to accompany the illustrations. WE NEED MORE books like this that encourage children to use their imaginations. The thick, sturdy pages mean this book should stand up to heavy usage. Rest assured IT WILL BE USED a great deal.
love this book. I "read" it with my three year old and let her make up her own story as she follows the characters. I think its also nice for adults because every time you read it you can find something new so it doesn't very boring like many children's books.
My whole family loves these books. I find myself looking at them alone! I love the art work and all the details that go into them.
