I have had this book since it first got to the shelves. I have read it many times and never tire of it. The struggle to survive both physically and spiritually is fascinating and never ending. The only problem I had with this book is like with all the previous reviewers it ended too abruptly. It needs a sequel. I just wish someone would make a site that just had up and coming sequel listings . . .

I loved this book. I have been a Bunn fan since I read "Pale Riders" years ago. This is such a different genre for him that I was skepitcal when I read the back cover. I had trouble getting into the story at first, but when I did I couldn't put it down. I didn't want it to end when it did. It needs a sequel.

Consuela, a girl from earth, suddenly finds herself transported to another world. She meets a young man with a special gift and soon, with his help discovers that she possesses the gift also. They end up falling in love, but then the young man, Wander, is kidnapped by government officials because of his abilities. Consuela evades being captured and then, accompanied by the crew of her ship, sets out on a dangerous journey to find Wander."The Dream Voyagers" is the best science fiction book I've ever read. It has the perfect blend of fantasy, romance, action and intensity. This book is a must read for any science fiction fan.

Totally different from the dozen or so of Mr. Bunn’s other books I’ve read. He demonstrates in this book an ability to create from scratch a very complex world and, even more difficult, weave a complex story line that keeps the reader engaged. The communication between the two main characters, Wander and Consuela, and how their love blossomed in spite of impossible barriers and separation was extremely creative and engaging. I’d like to see more of the same. It’s not light reading, due to the complexity of the world he creates, but well worth the effort.

I have read a lot of Bunn's books, this was another winner it will keep you on the edge of your seat. I have all his books just have not gotten to all at this point, but never picked up a bad one. Tony

This is by far the most beautifully written science-fiction novel I've ever read. It absolutely captivates the reader...you really grow connected to Consuela and Wander. This is an absolute page-turner...I couldn't put it down. I've just started reading it for the third time...and I still love it as much as the first time I read it. Absolutely wonderful!

Dream Voyagers was great- I couldn't put it down! The abruptess of the ending was the reason I didn't give it 5 stars; maybe the author had a big deadline or something, and needed to finish quickly. There were a few hints that didn't get explained though, which made me feel like he quit a little too soon. I've read about everything Davis Bunn has written though, and appreciate his world view and the excellent writing.

Like the previous reviewer, I liked this book a lot. It was well written, gripping, basic good sci-fi. Then came the ending. It was so abrupt that I actually checked to see if a *chapter* was missing. I don't understand how a book otherwise so well written and well laid out could have an end which seemed like the author reached a predetermined page limit and ended the book (seemingly) mid-thought.
