So much imagination and twists. I mean a character named Adolph who does good deeds ( yes, that same one ) and that's all I'm saying about that. Love how powerful the blood bond has been in this series and I think that can relate to society today with families. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
WHne i realized there is another book i was excited. i was like whoa thank goodness this books was very intricate in the details in how everything worked out. Def better ending, can't wait for the next one to come out.
Great series and Aftermath was still spell binding. Wonderful insite and story that parallels the Bible in the between God and Satan. I could not put the book down once I started reading. I was grateful to find this author and his stories.
The plot is what I expected from Somers, which is why I bout the book, however, the fiction and syntax used when Cole is speaking and thinking is much too sophisticated for an eighth year old boy no matter what time period it is in.
I continue to be astonished by Somers's writing talent. He is able to keep my undivided attention with each page, and that is very hard to accomplish since I have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). But he has not disappointed me yet with the books in this series!! The constant battle between good and evil is so intense. I love these books so stinkin much! Keep it up, James :)
I have one book to go in this series - Alliance.I have enjoyed them immensely as a fan of fantasy fiction.I have decided to begin reviewing on .cm.au as I can only buy through Australia by default.Time to build up the Aussie site.Cheers!
Wonderful read. I enjoy how God conquers no matter how tragic the circumstances. I know this is fiction but it follows right along with God's word. Excellent book!!
I feel ripped off. I've purchased and read the other books in this series using both my Kindle and Cloud Reader. I bought this to read on my computer but get "This Title is Not Available on Kindle Cloud Reader". Why would you sell me something and not let me read it, ?
