This book was a pleasure to read. It made me remember two book series that I deeply cherish: The Dragon Keeper Chronicles by Donita K. Paul and The Dark Angel Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce.I'll admit it: I grabbed the book because I judge the cover. I didn't even know it had a religious undertone to it. Forget that undertone. Forget that its Christian-based if you don't like mixing religion with what you read. This is a darn good book with a spectacular female character. Ivi, the female MC, has been given cruddy cards in life since she was "associated with the witch-lady" aka her mentor/foster-mother/best friend. If you ever read the dragon Keeper Chronicles I strongly urge you to pick up this series because I can guarantee that if you like one, you will absolutely love the other.I will be looking forward to see how ivi walks her path with the Great One's guidance and as how her lineage and Gifts affect her and those around her.P.S. I also ship Flynn and Ivi and hope they get together down the line)

The seekers call was such an enjoyable read. I found myself reading this book when I should have been doing other things lol! It's books like this that you have to hurry reading to see what happens next and then before you know it your done. I'm now going to see what other books she has written.

I absolutely adore Ivi and relate to her struggles to be accepted in the communities. I too hope that her and Flynn become an item. I wondered who else had left the other realm that was Flynn's parents? Was it Karnin's daughter who is Flynns mother? I am tempted to read this book again to my grandchildren. The friends and family attachments that Ivianna has acquired is heart warming and overwhelmingly felt. I will purchase every book this author publishes. I myself felt closer to God through this book. But it didn't really come across as a religious book. But still inspiring. Do read this book, it was hard to put down and I too found some thing put on the back burner just so I could read another page or chapter.

While I enjoyed the adventure and characters, book 2 seemed to end abruptly, rather like having to drop your Saturday night adventure read in order to rush off to church early Sunday morning. These novels need a good going over by an editor/proofreader too, to correct a LOT of misspellings, misusage of words, and plain old wrong words. Aside from that, a pretty good story.

Cassandra Boyson out did herself! Listen if you are a Seer / Prophet you will be wondering how she knew what you walked thru all your life....if you are not its a great read and great insight into the spiritual realm keeps you on your the edge of seat and is wonderfully written!! Love it and I am in anticipation while awaiting the next exploit!! Wonderfully done and DEEP!

After losing her friend and mentor, Iviana left her home. As she walked, she saw some of her visions in front of her. Following a dove, she lost it and didn't know where she was. It was a barrier wildness and she decided to stay there for the night. As she laid down between two boulders, she saw something in the dry clearing. She couldn't believe that it was a beautiful Dragon. As she watched, a man was coming toward the Dragon with the intent to kill it. Iviana tried to stop him but he slashed it's side before she got there. After stopping him, she decided to heal the Dragon. As the Dragon healed, she got to know the Dragon better. As she returned from town, a few scoundrels tried to a cost her, it the DRagon saved her life. They had fought with the man who had tried to kill her Dragon, so she send d up saving him too. His name was Flynn and he needed a healer to save his sister. Iviana healed her also. The Dragon became her friend and after saving her again, he took her to his realm. The adventure begins for Ivianna..

There was a lot to like about this story. Iviana's character was very well written and I enjoyed watching her growth throughout the story. The misspelled words were like hitting speed bumps, taking me completely out of the flow of the story. Someone needs to go back and do a re-edit.

Good story, more of a juvenile plot but fun and an adventure. Ivania is someone looking to find out who and what she is. And who can resist a brave amazing girl with her own Dragon. I look forward to following her seeking as the end of rhe book has the feel of a pause on a plateau rather than the satisfaction of a true finish.
