The Helping Students Understand math series is excellent. Written in an easy to understand manner with an appropriate amount of practice for each skill, this book walks students through the steps of each type of problem. I use it for practice in my alternative education math classroom. It really helps.

I ordered a number of pre-algebra books to help my grandchilren understand algebra. I have found this worktext to be the most helpful to them and me since it has been 50 years since I tackled algebra problems. Of course I use math everyday, but not with the algebra-mind. I recommend this worktext before any other. Tackle this worktext and you most likely not need any other! Thank you Dr. Sandall and Dr. Swarthout.

I wanted to supplement my daughter's Honors Math homework and this was OK. Doesn't cover very much. It's nice that it presents concepts differently to help comprehension. Not horrible, just not great.

Using this to teach my daughter the beginning concepts of Algebra. You will likely need to supplement with some practice materials.

as a teacher having martial get here on time is important. However i would suggest that you make sure your product is clean of pasta stains before sending it. Other than that i am a happy
