A very well put together book that showcases the work of Satoshi KonIt includes his animation work such as posters, storyboards and character designs as well as his manga art and notes on his work featured in the book.A great quality hard cover book at a great price.
Finally we get the Art of Satoshi Kon released by Dark horse. The Book is nice looking, hardcover and nice crisp images on thick paper. The artwork itself is amazing of course by Kon. I collect everything that is Satosh Kon; mangas, books, movies and cds.
I have been a fan of Satoshi Kon since Perfect Blue can out in America around 15 years ago. It really is a must have for any fan of good anime. I just wish it had more content. Being a 100 plus pages just was not enough! It is a shame that we will no longer see more works of his. Well I enjoyed this artbook.
It's a great compilation of Kon's work! Too bad there isn't more material from Paranoia Agent, one of my favorite works by him.
