I absolutely love the entire warrior series. This is a wonderful story. I truly enjoyed this book; very uplifting. I feel like he could have made a great warrior but being a medicine cat apprentice seems to suit him more. Very interesting I really enjoyed reading this novel.
Sam does what he does best here in Warrior, he tells a story while convicting your heart. Sam has an amazing way of pulling you in and changing your heart. Warrior is a call for every man to step up and become the warrior we are meant to be, the warriors God calls us to be. It is a rally cry for ever man to grab another warrior and forcefully advance God's kingdom. If you have not read it, now is the time, God is calling you to battle. The spiritual battle is always raging, and we all need a reminder from time to time that we are a part of that battle. Thanks Sam for your heart for God and this call to be a Warrior for God!
Sam Laing does it again! Elaborating on the themes he began exploring in his previous book for men (Mighty Man of God), Warrior takes us deeper into the heart of godly manhood. David has always been one of my favorite biblical characters so this book was right up my ally. I found myself moved to tears and stirred deeply in my soul over and over again as I read this challenging, inspiring message that will surely call men everywhere to rise up and heed the call of God! Get it, read it, re-read it, apply it, and gift it to others.
I have always loved the story of David and how he was a true man of God. I loved the warrior book, so much gems in this book. I was looking for a spiritual book that would inspire. I think Sam Laing has put into this book, life changing lessons that were inspired by God and his word, and I just added the Kindle version of this book. I read the "Vignette-The Lion", and was brought to tears becuase I have three young daughters that I am sure would be easy prey for a lion. I am challenged to to be the shepherd that protects them. I look forward to digging in to this book. Sam is a fine writer, and his books are very inspirational for men who are seeking to deepen their relationship with God.
