I like it. The 400 years between the OT & NT are great mystery. Josephus & others like him have written & given us glimpses of what happened. We have historical accounts of Alexander the Great & others to piece together & get an idea. This book summarizes all this information into a brief narrative. I appreciate the brevity & conciseness at only 91 pages. This is a great supplement to the Beth Moore Daniel study section where she discusses Antiochus Epiphanes. Now I can move into more in depth writings like "Josephus: The Essential Works".
Only a devout student of both the Old and New Testament and who has taken Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior could truly understand the dedicated detail and insightful conclusions in this work. This ranks as one of my most helpful and inspiring theological readings. If a rank of 10 stars was available, this would receive it.
