I really wasn't impressed with this book. It didn't deliver what I was expecting. Its great that the author shares his testimony but this book really doesn't tell you how to activate your prophetic gift. Lots of filler, but where's the beef?
We recently moved from a church in Tennessee that was operating in truth and spirit to a new church in a new state. This book has helped me to see my new church, while steeped in the word, lacks prophecy and the outpouring of the spirit. I knew something was missing. This book is right to the point and has invigorated my desire for more of Him and very specifically shows you how to move closer to God and hear him.
This little book has the power to lead, and to guide us to make the connection to our prophetic gifts in the proper manner, that which is scriptural!! I really did enjoy reading this powerful little book. I plan to go to the website and sign-in to get the real connection. This is an awesome little book.
Thought provoking. Definitely worth looking into. A great starting place for a beginner like me.I'm sure I will spend d some time in prayer over this information..
I liked that Kevin Horn shared his story, and that it was a quick read. I really liked the part of prayer, I just think I need to discern if this is really God speaking to me or my own thoughts, or will overriding God's word. I'll keep reading the Bible for now, and possibly pick this book up again to discuss with my church friends. Reviewed of my own free will in thanks for this free to me book Mr. Horn.
I know that God has given me the prophetic gift. Nobody leaded me, and I needed leading from a mentor because there were things that I couldn't understand and thought I was a freak. Kevin Horn's book "Activating Your Prophetic Gift" is like a mentor to me. I am really great full that I discovered his book.Thank you Kevin for the insight on the subject. I think there are many people like me who haven't got someone to teach them about the Prophetic Gift from God and how to develop it the way we should. I am using this little gem over and over again
