When did David Shannon get a chance to come to my house? Every mother will recognize her little boy in this book. My older boys screamed with laughter looking at the picture while reading the story to their baby brother. "It's Noah, It's Noah!" was all I heard. They all love the story and the pictures, even the 11 yr old thought it was cute. The key to all David Shannon's books is familiarity. We love what we know and we all know we love DAVID.

When my son David was born almost two years ago my best friend gave us the "No, David!" book. Of course, it wasn't very useful until he was a bit older, and we still have to be careful letting him look at it so that the pages don't get ripped or bent. Still, he loves hearing his name in the book! IF ONLY THESE Diaper David BOOKS HAD COME OUT SOONER!!! I think they are absolutely adorable, and VERY STURDY since they are board books. I can't bear to save them until his 2nd birthday in a couple of months, so he just got some extra books for no reason at all! If you love the original "David" books, these are a great addition to the collection for younger children!

I giggled when my mom gave me this book for my 2 year old son, but I had no idea he'd love it so much! He has learned to say the parts of the face on David's face, he can read the word "oh" and he circled David's nose on every page. He wants to read this book over and over again! We definitely say Oh, Theo! There's nothing David does that Theo didn't do!

My mother gave me this board book for my one year old. She has carried it everywhere for the past three months, making me (and anyone else in sight) read it over and over and over again. It fell apart last week after she dropped it in the bathtub, so here I am buying a replacement.

This was not a favorite of the DAVID series. If you have a child who has never heard the original and under 2, then it's fine. We started out reading the original one such as No, David. My 2 year old adores those. This one was very babyish. As a mom and teacher, I don't recommend it for anyone past 1 1/2.

My boys love all David Shannon's books. Great for toddlers, easy for them to memorize and "read" to themselves. Pictures are captivating and good for initiating conversations about behavior and making good choices.

These books by David Shannon are so funny for children. They love the things he get's into and just love reading them to my children and grandchild. Will be passed on through our family for sure. They are very funny also.

Oh, David, we do love your books! My grands think your work and your illustrations are hilarious. My own "diaper David" is only 19 months, but he gets your humor and brings the book to me to be read again and again and laughs aloud at Diaper David's antics. Thanks for the fun!
