I am always looking for material that will help a group to reflect together. The author has not only included questions that prompt discussion, which I think of as head questions, but he also has a good number of what he calls "Questions for Application" which are heart questions. Including the Scripture reading in the book is handy.
The book is divided into 6-week sessions with thoughtful questions for discussion as well as a section after each for personal reflection. The author provides greater insight into the methods of John's writing about the ministerial life of Jesus in comparison to the other evangelists which broadens the scope of the reader's understanding.
