If u like Max Lucado u'll like this Bible Study .. BUT be aware that it does NOT cover the entire book of Revalation; I purchased it to assist me in preparing my lessons on the middle chapters, specifically 6-9, & 14-15 but this book only covers ch 1-5, 19-23; nothing in between; so it didn't help me at all!
This book was just what my small group and I were looking for. It is focused on the scripture rather than the authors opinion about the scripture. Fabulous!
This book opens the door to think about and consider who we are in our relationship with God. There is three parts of God. Father, Son and Holy spirit, this is there world and we are apart of it. There are those now who rejects this, it's all fun and games, political correctness, sexual immortality, homosexuals,transgenders, but God will have none of it. This writing is very clear for those who have an ear, a mind, a heart, and those who truly LOVE. Read this book, please.
a good book, but not a good one for a full study of Revelation as the author jumps many chapters. Especially the chapters that have a great deal of imagery that is hard to grasp without some guidance. Might be wise to use this as another reference book along with others Revelation studies.
The book was a big disappointment.I wanted to use it in my study of Revelation that I am teaching. It only had comments for the first 5 chapters and then the last two chapters. Chapters 6 through 18 are the difficult chapters and they are completely ignored in this book. So it is useless for me. I would like to send it back.
It seemed to me he could have asked more to the point questions not so much opinion questions. The lessons didn't take an hour long session, they should have been more in depth to make an hour session.
We were searching for a book on Revelations and since we are huge fans of Max Lucado, we thought this would be just what we were looking for. However, this book is only a workbook to write comments in after a self study. Should have returned it, but missed the timeframe.
What I like about this book is you study a little bit about Revelation, but it forces you to think about some of the messages and how it can pertain to your life. It personalizes it. I think it's a great study.
