The Magic of Friendship is a tale about the importance, strength and treasure that friendships are and can be. There's a lot of love in the tale too. And after all, what is friendship without love? The tale begins as Captain and son are flying away for the Winter. The youngster wants to fly over Tadoba. However, Captain warns him that there is an unhappy tiger (Babbar) who lives below and that it might be wisest not to. But, they do and Babbar spots the flock and lets out a frightening roar, to which the geese crash in to one another and fall to the earth. While the geese are there, they happen upon a friendly donkey, who is known for his friendly and humorous disposition. To make a long story short, Babbar and the donkey form an informal alliance. Babbar is to teach the donkey to frighten others and the donkey is to teach Babbar to be funny. They spend so much time doing this that they become friends. After some time has passed, Captain is again flying over Tadoba is no longer afraid of Babbar. This cast of animals had all become friends. Beautiful!DISCLOSURE: While I did receive this item for free in consideration of a review, my opinions are still my own.

“The Magic of Friendship” is a story about how an unexpected friendship came to be. The tiger, Babbar, is feared by all of the animals in the forest and finds himself to be very unhappy. He oversees Hasmukh, the silly donkey, laughing and having fun with the other animals. Babbar wants to learn how to be silly too so he strikes a deal with Hasmukh. He will teach Hasmukh to be scary if Hasmukh will teach him how to be funny. The two spend a lot of time together trying to teach each other how to be scary and funny. In the end Hasmukh never becomes scary and Babbar never becomes funny, but they do become great friends. The other animals of the forest also realize that they no longer have to fear Babbar and they can all play together. My girls really enjoyed this book and recognized that while it may be scary at first to reach out to somone new, they may turn out to be a great friend.

This is a really cute story about a ferocious lion who always gets his way, but is never happy and doesn’t know how to laugh. The there is a donkey who is very funny, but also scared all the time. Can either of them learn to go against their nature? What happens when the donkey is kicking up such a fit of laughter and attacks the Tigers attention!? Read this story to find out.I enjoyed the story, and the pictures were really well done. I love that the characters are introduced in advance, especially since they are not common names for me. I believe this book may have been translated, but it’s been done very, VERY well. The story line is unique to me, and I thought it was very well written. I would be interested in reading more from this author. Below is the summary of the book as well as one page from the story :D

The Magic of Friendship written by Subhash Kommuru tells of how rumors spread can be way different then what really happened. In this case the birds were afraid to fly over the jungle because of the stories they were told.During the story something happens to change everyone's mind.In life people will say things about others but they don't always have the whole story, and you might be surprised to find out the stories that were told are no where near the truth.Great book for teaching children to make friends with everyone, you just never know what kind of relationship you might be missing out on. I received this product as part of a promotion in order to facilitate an honest and unbiased review.

Just a beautiful story about friendship for children of any age! The illustrations are gorgeous and capture the attention of almost a child of any age, even as an adult I found them eye catching! I bought the book for my granddaughter, age 7 but learned my grandsons, age 5 and age 6 were interested in watching the book be read to her also. It is a sweet story with a great morale to it. The pictures help keep young ears entertained and the older child can handle reading it except for the names to read may be abit harder as they are not American names. Outstanding story and theme! Beautifully done!

My boys and I really enjoyed reading The Magic of Friendship. This book has such a beautiful colorful illustration which was very complimentary to the story. It’s a story that will leave you mesmerized as the story unfolds. The part when they were teaching one another how to laugh and how to be fearless was one of the funniest part of the story. I recommend “The Magic of Friendship” because it’s a great book for any youngster to learn that no matter how different you may be, you can always be friends and share your happiness together.Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
