This book is EXTREMELY useful for studying Prophecy. It allows the reader to 'explore' each book of the Bible and discover for themselves God's dealing with Israel (the Jews); their disobedience and God's promise to restore them all throughout scripture. His faithful love for them is undeniable. Israel will be restored! The book also speaks concerning the Church and it's role apart from the nation of Israel; it's 'heavenly calling'. This book is A MUST HAVE! It does not disappoint.
My husband (and myself) really enjoy reading about Bible prophecies but sometimes don't always understand the meanings behind them. I have to say that this book is very detailed and puts things into a perspective that is easily understandable. It's also a very interesting read! I really enjoy this book and would recommend it to anyone looking to read into prophecies in the Bible.
This book is a MUST-HAVE for every serious student of Bible prophecy. Nearly all of the Bible's 66 books contain nuggets of prophecy and the authors have seemingly left no stone unturned. God has an amazing agenda for the world! Some of these prophecies have already been fulfilled through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but what does God have planned for the future? You'll be riveted! I found that this book is best digested in small portions. There are so many interesting tidbits packed in 546 pages. For example, regarding the Second Coming, I found it particularly intriguing that Jesus returns first to Bozrah in present-day Jordan (Isaiah 34:1-7 and 63:1-6) before He goes to the Mount of Olives in Israel. I would give this book more than five stars!
I went to the library and got a pile of books on Bible Prophecy. This one stood out hands down! I misses the return date twice and had to pay library fines. So I just had to buy it! It is articulate, incorporates several expert views, and is the best book I have found on Bible Prophecy. Thank you Tim Lahaye and Ed Hindson for your hard work!!
It will come in handy to give me background on which verse's are actually prophetic I am counting on getting to know and read it more once my study begins this fall thru Bible Study Fellowship International
Being generous on the 3; they are still saying Mt. Sinai is in Sinai , not Saudi Arabia where evidence is undisputable. Do not mention Psalm 83 whatsoever. Other prophecies as well are not mentioned. For someone that knows nothing of scripture, it would be OK, but not for me. I would advise new Bible readers to check out other books and choose for themselves. I'm sure that some would like this view, I do not. Sorry, best I can so.
