I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and can imagine reading this aloud to my child to introduce her to the Hindi language. The story is heartfelt, and the pictures are a gorgeous accompaniment to the action. I look forward to introducing my baby to Bargad and look forward to more writings from the author couple!
Excellent piece of child literature. I am glad that this author penned down a beautiful children's story in Hindi. Pictures & Illustrations are icing on the cake. Me and My Daughter loved it. She was very excited with the story line and illustrations, and could not stop asking questions about Bargad, Vatasavitri & Panchayat. This book is a great way of introducing my kinds to Indian culture & heritage. Looking forward for some more exciting stories from this author.
This book is a refreshing take on the importance of protecting our natural resources. It's for anyone looking for a simple yet interesting pass-time story for their kids. The main character 'bargad' which is a banyan tree is very well illustrated and brought to life in this easy to understand Hindi tale which will attract kids and adults alike!! My toddler enjoyed reading it very much!!!
I loved this book. It has a beautiful story line and amazing drawings to go along with the words. Very eloquently written, gorgeously depicted, and has a great story line to boot. A pleasure to read aloud to your children, no matter what age they are, and for us adults too.I am eagerly waiting for this author's next book(s)I highly recommend this book, for you and your kids!
This book is a wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated simple story of the Bargad tree. I love that I could read it to my two year old, and explain it to him, and I can continue to read it to him as he grows. A great book for our collection. To be completely honest, the adults in our house love reading it, too!
