We were looking for a cursive handwriting book for extra practice for my oldest daughter. Also, we preferred one with Bible verses, but I figured that would be rather difficult to find given previous experience. We decided to check out and this one came up. And in KJV, too! I was horrified to learn that public schools are no longer teaching cursive handwriting. I don't have kids of my own, but I ordered these books for my two nieces. They have caught on very quickly. One of them wrote me a letter in cursive and I am so impressed with how nice her handwriting looks. I strongly believe that handwriting is just as unique as a thumbprint and we should encourage kids to explore their creative identity by learning cursive handwriting. This book is a great start.
I ordered this for my 5th and 4th graders to do during the summer just for practice. I thought they were great books with plenty of space to write. My kids actually remembered a lot of the scriptures they had practiced writing. Bonus!!!
I got this for my 2nd and 5th grader to improve their cursive. They enjoy using this book. It is not overwhelming and just enough practice. I challenge my 2nd grader to read the cursive first which is also good practice. We also spend some time discussing the verse. The cursive is presentable and there is enough space to write. It is good for practicing already learned cursive skills which is what we needed. The only area I have to cue my children is with the letter o transitions. They tend to come down more than I like making the o look more like an a. This really has not been a big problem and we love the book. Their cursive is improving. Just what we were looking for...
Love this workbook. Teaches my daughter her handwriting skills with a good message. Glad I decided to purchase it after all!
This is great handwriting practice for my kids. After doing their normal handwriting workbook, they use this to practice. It is a great distraction for church, too.

I like the format, just wish there was a little more room for beginners. The verses are good. Great practice for learning cursive.
