I love the print book! My two younger bio kids are working through Handwriting practice From the Bible book 2. They go through it, and we even use it as a jumping off point for our memory verses.This new print book would be great to use, too. It seems young and fun, like it will really relate to them. We are currently doing Saxon phonics, and many of the concepts in the print book with sight words really reinforce that curriculum.I love the use of keyword pictures. It will also provide a nice treat for them to be able to color the picture in when the assignment for the day is completed.I also appreciate the fact that the kids have a place to write their names on the top of each paper. That is something that we practice every day, and it promotes that practice.The pages at the end with the large pictures and sentences are adorable! The illustrations are super cute, and kid-friendly. Also, the sentences not only provide letter and word formation practice, but it gives the kids a chance to practice different punctuation marks, as well.It is a nice bonus to have some extra fun pages after the alphabetical order pages are finished. The sentences are fun, and I think, thought provoking for a small child. It will give the kids and I a point to talk about, and they can work on their critical thinking and reasoning.Pages 65-71 where the blends, diagraphs, and dipthongs are located felt jumbled and squished together to me. I LOVE that they are available, especially because that is part of our Saxon Phonics 2 curriculum. However, with having two blends on one small line, and then an empty line for practice under it, it felt a little confusing. I have one child in particular who would not be sure how to handle that.
