I, of course, had my favorites. ;)The Honey Bride by Diana Brandmeyer - 4 starsAfter her father dies, Katie is left to try to save the family farm. Pete, a ranch hand from a nearby farm, has been pining for Katie for a long time. Now is his chance to help her out and hopefully win her heart. I just adored Pete. He was protective, patient, and kind. Katie was a cutie, with her shyness, and her determination to save the farm. Sweet story!Dog Days of Summer Bride by Margaret Brownley - 5 starsThis was a super cute novella about a man, a woman, and a dog. Marilee has been taking care of a "stray" dog for months, even though he mysteriously disappears for a chunk of time each week. Jed has raised his dog since he was a puppy, but for the last few months he's been running off several days a week. Eventually they realize they're sharing the same dog, and have to decide what to do about it. A sweet, fun story!!The Fourth of July Bride by Amanda Cabot - 3.5 starsThis was only the 2nd work I've read by Amanda Cabot, but from other reviews I can see that the characters in this novella, Gideon & Naomi, were introduced in other novels. I think that's always fun to have that connection. The relationship between Gideon and Naomi starts out as a business deal. It kind of made me think of the 80's movie "Can't Buy Me Love" & the Sandra Bullock movie "The Proposal." We all know what happened with those faux romances. Cute story. I enjoyed it.
