I bought this book because I wanted my kid to enjoy and appreciate Scottish folklore as much as I do. And I must say, it was a 100 percent right decision on my part. It worked!Of course, it's the beautiful, absolutely stunning illustrations that attract your attention. However they are but a part of the book's magic. Seemingly simple narrating style instantly captivates, carrying you away into the magic land of lochs, bogles and the Wee Folk. And believe me, you will not want to interrupt this dream by putting this book down, till you are done reading it. You might even forget you actually got it for your kids.

This magical book has delighted our great-niece and her parents. The illustrations are quite simply stunning, repaying the many visits demanded.
