Ever since SuBLime entered the BL publishing scene and announced the titles they were going to release for print, this is the one I have been waiting to get my rabid, sweaty little fujioshi hands on! Not only do I love Sakuragi Yaya in general, but "Yume Musubi, Koi Musubi", aka "Bond of Dreams, Bond of Love" is simply one of my absolute favorite titles by her. I've had it in my hands for several weeks now so I thought I would finally get down to telling you my impressions on it.First the general synopsis. Ao, the the angelic-faced cutie pie there on the cover is not, contrary to his appearance, jail bait (thank God) but instead an older high school student who comes to the realization - in the form of a smexy dream-induced bodily emission (ah, ain't youth grand) - that he is in love with the older, sexy, grumpy, tsundere priest from the local shrine. Ryoumei, said priest, has been looking after Ao in some way or another since they met when Ao was just a small, wee little lad. Despite his cutesy-wutesy looks, Ao is actually very manly. He wastes no time in letting Ryoumei know he wants to get down and dirty with the poor, shocked, and a tiny bit frightened older man. But, Ryoumei is so used to giving in to Ao, so used to most of his decisions and actions revolving around the now perverted little brat, that he just doesn't know what to do! Hijinks, hilarity, some angst, and a whole lot of Ryoumei running around wondering if his butt is safe ensues.I simply cannot extol the virtues of this manga enough. The characters are amazing. They are funny, thoughtful, some are perverted, caring, and definitely well rounded. The side characters are the best, too.
