This is Ayano Yamane that we're talking about here! I found this and the last offering Viewfinder Series - Akihito Takaba's Refined Summer Vacation to be about the same length. Yes it is short, and yes it is expensive, but how long do you think it takes to draw all these panels? She doesn't just sit down and whip them off in five minutes. As for the complaints of no sex, I found this one to be more graphic than the last one. No, there is no intercourse, but there are three rather naughty pages of Akihito modeling some BDSM equipment, quite against his will, and a creative new use for the barrel of an antique revolver. ;) The thing to keep in mind here is that this is marketed as a short, and that is exactly what you get. Lovers of Yamane Sensei's work, don't let the naysayers put you off.
This was very disappointing. I love Yamane's Finder series; it is my absolute favorite yaoi. The last short story released in Kindle format, Viewfinder Series - Akihito Takaba's Refined Summer Vacation, was overpriced but still had some substance, not to mention some hot sex! This does not - no substance, no sex! states that this is a follow-up to "Finder no Netsujou" (V6 - which doesn't even have a release date in English), and perhaps that is why it's lacking. This took only two minutes to read, but was still priced the same as the last story at $2.99. If I had paid 99 cents, I might feel differently.Yamane fans, like me, will probably buy this anyway. Just be prepared that it is nowhere near as good as the last story. (I still can't get over a Finder story having no sex!) I hope the next story is a better value, because I know I'll buy it.
Paid $2.99 but this wasn't even worth 99 cents! :( The story was short and there were only a few dirty pics at the end. Not much of a story. 16 pages of actual story. I love the series and the mangaka but unless you have $3 to just throw away, do not get this! :( This took me about 2 minutes to read. Partly because i had to zoom in the view the print on my iphone then x out of the page. If i had a bigger screen, it might have taken me less time! Go buy some candy instead. It will last longer and leave you more satisfied.
I simply love this author. The story was fantastic and something that should definitely be read. I enjoyed this one so much.
I love the series but wish the short was a little longer, the fun scene was to short as well.
