This adorable book goes far beyond just cute and fun! The lesson of God being near is so comforting, so sweet and very very important for our children. Without God, we have nothing. Knowing He is always near just warms the soul, and soothes the fears of our children! The author obviously has a close relationship with God! She ministers to her friends and loved ones while indeed being in need herself of prayer and healing!Jan Carter has a beautiful gift!
This afternoon I was watching a pair of cardinals outside of my kitchen window, and as always they reminded me that God is near. A little while later, this precious book arrived! There is a joyful exuberance in God is Near that will appeal to young minds and the hope filled message will touch their hearts. Children will love the beautiful illustrations and will learn that God hears and answers their prayers. I highly recommend this book!
