I am totally thankful that this NEW book arrived EARLY and it is such a great tool for unlocking more of God's wisdom as you read the Gospel of Matthew!!! These Lifeguide Bible study books are designed to help us all to read the Bible for ourselves, and then by reading the author's questions, you will look back in the Scripture passage and hunt and find more insight into God's thoughts. For me, I miss a lot. I mean , Scripture is made so a child can understand a lot of it, however, maybe we speed through too fast. These little guide books help us to slow down and think about what we just read. You will come to your own conclusions, and write these in the book , or in a journal book , as you choose. :) Thank God for helpers!!! :)
Our small group bible study fellowship chose this book because we wanted to follow our denomination's lectionary in which Matthew is being read for Sunday services. We are just beginning to use the booklet, but so far the questions have been excellent for generating vibrant group discussions.
