This is part of our Sonlight curriculum. I am very impressed with all of the information contained in this book. It is not a huge bulky book either, it's 5" x7" and just the right size for myself and children to hold and take along when needed. It covers everything from weather, science, history to animals and anything else you'd like a young child to know. The illustrations are detailed and the photos are great! There are also links to internet sites for further research. I would buy this again and suggest it for anyone's library with elementary age children. I do suggest previewing all the pages first before handing it to a child. In the section about babies it does say that a grown up man and grown up woman are needed to make a baby and that a woman has eggs inside and a man has sperm, but that is the extent of what is said. Each home is different in what they deem appropriate for their children. I suggest previewing before handing it to a child. Hope that helps someone out there!

i love iT because it has electric stuff, and because it has science stuff. There are butterflies, that you would really like to see, and because it is nice.
