This book is a good balance between pictures and information. My nephew is interested in dinosaurs but is too young to read a lot, so this is a perfect middle ground and will also be good as he learns to read.
My son discovered dinosaurs and he had a birthday coming up so I got him this. He was turning 2 and they grow so fast I'd sooner get something he can grow into. Thick book, lots of pictures and info on every page. When i gave it to him, all his new toys got pushed to the side and didn't hold a candle to his new, very well illustrated dinosaur books
The product came quickly and the illustrations are very good. I suppose fom a 2014 edited-book, this would bring some new discoveries, but that's ok. Specially for children and lay people.
