While the information available in this book is factual, it is far from complete. The book may be useful as a starting point for older children's research or for research for brief elementary school projects; however, middle school students will need much more in depth information. It also does not have information about lesser-known tribes. I found the book "500 Nations" to be a better all-around resource on this subject
Probably written for children ages 12 and above, this is a nice general survey of Native American tribes and culture. A good introduction with pen and ink illustrations, but not very detailed.
Excellent book about Native Americans anyone would enjoy and find interesting. This is history and I would recommend this book to anyone who likes researching Native American culture, etc.
I love how all the tribes are listed... I don't know what to say besides this is a VERY good book, especially for quick referencing on Native American Indian Tribes.
