How to Stay Christian in High SchoolTimes are tough and certainly it is no different for those who are at a critical stage of development. It is no cake walk to become a follower and no easy row to hoe when it comes to staying on the narrow path but I believe that with the Holy Bible in hand and other resources like this book from Steve Gerali you can at least get a glimpse of the hope that we have as Christians to defend our faith and make sure that our friends and family do not end up in a place separated from their Creator. I highly recommend this book, not only for teens, but parents of teens as well. It gives some insight to the struggles that our teens face in everyday society and the world of high school! I read this book while I was in high school, and I must say I still haven't forgotten it. Love how the author breaks biblical characters and concepts down into a modern way of understanding. This book is filled with words of wisdom and advice that will set the foundation for your teen years into the rest of your Christian walk. Would highly recommend it :)
I am very happy with this book and have been using it with a couple of highschoolers. It is easy to read and yet brings up great discussion on how to stay faithful. I plan on using it with other students in the future.
Have been teaching this topic to high school youth & loved many ideas in this book. The modernization of the Biblical teens is a little over the top at times, but it worked great at helping our teens relate. Lots of great application too. Def recommend this one!
This is a great book to help navigate students difficult time of growing up. It is practical, insightful, and very helpful. It is part of my teaching series and curriculum. It would be great for all students, parents, and those investing in the lives of adolescents.
