Although written for a younger child, this beautifully illustrated book makes a great keepsake. The original music, included on CD, is a nice touch! Apparently, this is only the first installment of "Disney Parks Presents." Other iconic ride books to follow (i.e. Pirates of the Carribean, etc.)
This book is adorable. It's a must for any true Haunted Mansion fan! The pages take you through the lyrics of Grim Grinning Ghosts, with pictures (computerized drawings, that is) from each of the main scenes. It also comes with a CD of the song, but anyone who's a fan enough to buy this book surely already owns a copy of that. But overall, I love it, and can't wait to see what other books are put out in this series!
My wife and I love the Haunted Mansion at Walk Disney World. We're taking the kids for the first time this fall, and they're younger and kind of easily scared sometimes. The wimps. I bought this to help gear them up for riding it. The book just illustrates some scenes from the ride and the text is just the lyrics to the Grim Grinning Ghosts song. You also get the song on CD. As far as the text goes, I was hoping for a bit more - a story or something. Just reading song lyrics or following along with the audio doesn't even keep my 4 year old very interested. She loves her Disney books that come with a story CD. The book itself is really nice looking though and I do think that it will serve its purpose in making them just a little braver when it comes time for the ride.
I was excited to see that Disney publishing had started printing this book, but very disappointed that when I visited their theme park no one had a clue what I was looking for. It's not available at Disneyland or on their website yet it's available on .
This book appears to be written for young children but some of the pictures may be disturbing (unless you are a member of the Addams family). The cd is a nice bonus. This book is a good addition to a Haunted Mansion collection.
A very cute and colorful book that takes you through the ride of the Haunted Mansion while singing Grim Grinning Ghosts. I really felt like I was riding the ride. I can't wait to see what comes out next!
This book is a definite must for any Haunted Mansion fan. While the book skews towards a younger reader adults will appreciate the beautiful art work inside. Plus there is even a hidden mickey inside!
I love this book it is so awesome! I'm a huge HM Fan and this definitely is a must for all fans of Haunted Mansion. It is the lyrics to the ride and comes with a cd with the song. I got this at an amazing price with an additional discount and I'm so happy with it. :) The illustrations are amazing too!
