This is a wonderful book to teach young children the value of money and basic concepts of saving, investing, spending and donating. It's a great springboard for conversation. The story and illustrations are delightful and will surely engage your child. Highly recommend.
Loved everything about this book. I wish I had it when my kids were growing up but I can't wait to read it to my grandchildren and discuss the various aspects of getting, giving, saving and spending their money. They have so many toys already that after reading Zac;s Dollar Dilemma, I'm going to give them money instead of more toys! Thanks you Rachel Gottlieb for writing this book.
I love this book and I'm so happy I found it! There really isn't too many children's book geared towards teaching the value of saving, spending, and donating. This book covers all three in a simple and concise manner that keeps both my 2 year old and 5 year old entertained. We have begun implementing chores with my 5 year old and he often mentions the characters when he gets his "allowance".I highly highly recommend this book!!
it is refreshing to read a book to my children that teaches them real life lessons that they will actually use. the characters and rhymes have made this book an instant classic in our house. by far the most requested book on their shelves at bedtime right now. i have looked for other books by this author but can't seem to find any. I am hoping that she will have other books out soon.
