So, when he sees Shar Sinclair desperately working to save a sea turtle, he begins to realize that there are more important things in the world besides business meetings. He also realizes that he wants to get to know this woman who displays such passion for a worthy cause.Shar Sinclair wants nothing to do with relationships. She's focused on saving endangered sea turtles and is convinced that a man in her life would pull her away from her life goals. However, why is she so amazed when a stranger rushes up to help her save an injured turtle? And, why does she keep thinking about him? What's wrong with her?As they get to know each other, Gage is convinced that she's the one for him. Yet, Shar wonders how he can honestly love her? Surely, she's simply a distraction from his grief and a means of escape from the stress of work! Can Gage convince her that his love is real?I enjoyed this story on many levels. I liked the life lesson that someone can pursue a personal passion such as saving endangered species and also have romantic relationships and love in their life. Not every relationship interferes and it won't if it's truly a loving relationship. Also, Gage is a great leading male character. He's strong and an imposing force in business, yet he's learning that he can step away and have a personal life as well.
