I've loved meeting the Hunt family through this series. Each book is a clean romance (this one had some light Christian elements). The books can be read independently.I loved Evan and Anabel. They were so cute when they were flirting. I also loved seeing how Evan's family reacted to her. It was a great end to the series. I want more! Since all of the adults are now married, I am crossing my fingers for stories about all of their children!
Amazing job Brooke St. James. It was golden. I had never had a real interest in Evan, but I was looking forward to catching up with the characters, before I picked up this book. Afterward I loved Evan just as much as the rest of them if not more and really got to know him. Annabel was perfect for him. Absolutely wonderful, quirky, and sweet. 5 stars
When you know you have found that special person you know. This was a sweet read. Both characters were up front about their feelings. I liked that there was no prolonged playing hard to get but that they came straight to the point. I loved the continuity of the family at Mrytle Beach.
Annabel Riley worked as a waitress in her grandma's restaurant and also worked as a hair stylist for Paige Hunt. Annabel was an only child and her parents were divorced since she was very young. She really liked the Hunt family Dee Dee was the grandmother and dampening the restaurant quite often. Evan was back in town and he was a very handsome man who has been into modeling. He was in an accident with his motorcycle and now had a scar on his handsome face. She had to tell him that she agreed with his grandmom that it added to his appeal and actually pinched his cheek. This is the start of something beautiful. Do not miss this story and I am feeling sad that this s series is coming to an end. I have enjoyed the five books and highly recommend you read this series.
I have just finished reading the best books I've read in a long time. Starting with Book 1 through Book 5, I couldn't put the book I was into down. Each book is about a different person in the family finding his, or her, love. From Cody and Paige in Book 1 to Evan and Annabelle in Book 5, the couple falls for each other before, or during, their time at Myrtle Beach. If you love romance novels and love a series of a family, you MUST get Brooke St. James's Hunt family series.
Best series! And this sequel continues the great tradition that Brooke St James creates in her stories. The Hunt Family series is not to be missed you will fall in love over and over again with each character. Love, love, love it!
If you enjoy a great book about a family who care for each other, this is your book. I enjoyed that it wasn't really deep but Brooke kept the story moving and changed locations several times. Well written. Enjoyable.
I loved this book.....and I loved this series!! I especially liked the way the characters were present in each book. The storylines all came 2gether and the writing was entertaining. GR8 gr8 book!! I recommend the entire series.
