Full of wisdom quotes, this book is suitable for ages 9-Up. The big question for me is, why or when would a child pick up this book to read it? What's the draw? I think grown-ups will appreciate Wise at Heart the most and it would make a great gift from grandparents. Otherwise, I can see it being used as part of a social studies or health unit in the classroom or for homeschool, something that would make it a springboard for discussion. It's a very nice collection of quotes and photographs that I am personally glad to call my own, but it just doesn't have the same attraction for my kids.
