My husband leaved in canada for three years so we wanted to teach and read about it to our sons. This is one of my favorite book of the series (that, and the america one), mostly because it covers so much and is so broad but also because the drawings are hand drawn not digitally created like Good Night New York or Good night Hawaii...

We purchased it for friends from Canada with children in the states. However, 90% of Canadians live an hour from the border, and yet, they know more about the US than the US knows about Canada. Only hockey fans know the Canadian National Anthem. It's a great book to teach children about other places, and, for those of us in the north, our closest neighbor. My experience is that people who dismiss it when I suggest it are peopel who don't travel.

My daugther who is 20 months now, love this collection. She has been to couple places in North America so it's always fun to show her where she has been.

This is great book. Especially since I am living in the US and my little girl is a dual citizen and I want to teach some things about Canada.

The illustrations in this book are wonderful and it includes so many iconic Canadian landmarks that we give this give to all of our friends from other countries for their children.
