Whoever gave the book 1 star, you are wrong.The shark killings and the shark itself are a metaphor. Goregeous illustrations! I love how Joe Sumner draws the sharks realistically and the people, cartoony. In fact, I am also writing a graphic novel and this book just inspired me.Love it!!!
Chronicles a young girl's coming of age with the help of a non-stop shark metaphor. It's cute and strange but not as powerful as I hoped for in its conclusion.
