The author clearly needs to have someone with a knowledge of biology and geology proofread these books. There are several instances in this book where the author incorrectly uses terms and gives definitions of words which are not at all correct. Overall the series is good, I just wish the author was not presenting incorrect information to our children which I now have to reteach.
Exactly what we were looking for to read about the real world with our very young grandchildren. Beautiful pictures, too.
