Nemi is an excellent comic, but the translation is into British English, not American English. Most of the words make sense, but numerous British slang terms and references to British cultural institutions spoil some punchlines. This work merits translation into American English.

Loved it! The shipping was on time. The quality of the book was perfect, and not to mention the hilariousness inside was great as always from her party animal like ways to her goofy child sense. Everything you love about Nemi.
I love this comic sereis, and you should also get the second book!The two main characters are so loveable, especially if you are a 20 something chick. It reminds me of me and my friends sometimes, even though we are not goths.I gave it four stars only because for some reason, there are duplicates! Yeah! You would read a comic strip, and 20 pages later, there it is again. There are a few of those. It's a little annoying but I got over it because I just love these characters.
I discovered this comic by accident and was immediately hooked. Nemi is smokin' hot.
As a native Norwegian female reader in my twenties, I've followed Lise Myhre's Nemi for several years. Nemi is always funny to read, and some of the strips are hilarious! Although Nemi is best read in Norwegian, it's funny to read in English as well. Some of the points may be lost in translation, but that shouldn't stop you from discovering this interesting comic strip.Recommended for women that are 18 or older.
