The Soul Surfers Series is a very inspirational set of books! Bethany Hamilton is my rock and my idol because of how much she is able to do with only one arm. My arm was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident and because of Bethany Hamilton I amputated my arm, these books really helped me form the decision to have my arm amputated and to feel comfortable with it.
Even if your kids aren't fans of Bethenny Hamilton, they will enjoy this series, which helps them work out and see what others would do, not always perfectly - in the Soul Surfer Series. Dealing with friendships, what secrets are good to keep, and compassion for people who make your life tough - my girls tore through these books and have re-read them. I read them and found them useful to bring into conversations.
This book is soooooooo good. It teaches a lot about how God works in everyday life. Also there's a bunch of surfing. Plus I'm a huge Bethany Hamilton fan. If you are Christian, a surfer or a Bethany Hamilton fan then you should read this book!
