As always, Dr. Seuss has done a great job capturing the imagination and attention of children with this wonderful book. (This book is actually one taken from a full-length book he wrote, "If I Ran The Circus".) The fact that it is a board book is a major plus as I have a 2 year old who can be rough on books. The only thing I did not realize was that it is has flaps to open and see pictures underneath. I am not crazy about the flaps as they could be torn off but other than that, my kids and I just love it!
FLAP BOOKS! Our 1-Year old LOVES any flap book in the world - but this one is awesome for parent. It's what you'd expect. Cleverly written, funny, and the complete fold out is great because she can spread it out, lay or sit on the floor, and explore the entire Circus McGurkus Train!
This is a book bases on Dr. Seuss' writing, someone else wrote this and tried to rhyme the pages and not very well. We would not buy it again for the content but the boys have fun with the book as it unfolds into a train.
Love the "doctor", but this abridged version has virtually no text to speak of. 2 or 3 flaps and that's it. Bores me AND my daughter to death.
Perfect size for baby, very happy with the book. Will be easy to read to child and the colors are bright
This is a cute book our 6 month old enjoys. Its definitely not one of my favorites (story or layout wise) but he enjoys how big it is when it is all opened up and he loves flaps which this has. I recommend Wet Pet Dry Pet, its a touch and feel and he LOVES it.
It was a bit difficult for me to figure out the order for the story since I'd never read it until I had to read it to my class, so the pull out book was an interesting challenge. Yes I know what kind of an airhead sound like. But a cute story.
My 17 month old son LOVES this book--the fold out/accordion format and lift-flaps are engaging and fun. And in true Dr. Suess fashion, the rhyming is fast and quirky. We love this!
