Heroes of 9/11by Allan ZulloReview by Cole P. age 12 Permian Basin Heroes of 9/11 is a short non-fiction collection of 10 heroes from the attacks on 9/11. From firefighters at the World Trade Centers to the brave passengers on United Flight 93, this book keeps account of the bravery and hard work these people had while saving tons of peoples’ lives. Firefighters, police, EMTs, and just plain civilians go into the burning buildings and help people escape. Getting trapped in the rubble having to wait long hard hours was just one of the many challenges these brave people had to face. Being only 181 pages this book is an easy read. The stories are not connected together, so you can read this book in any order you want. Whether you just want to know more about 9/11 or are related to some of the many great people who sacrificed their lives to save the lives of others, this is a great read that described exactly what happened to 10 of the hundreds of heroes.
My 11 year old son loves these books and this book is great for AR tests in school.
My 5th grader enjoyed reading this book.
