As the title suggests this is an intro to pastoral counseling that is unapologetically Christian; at the same time, it is sensitive to the need to be conscious of a wider world of legitimate approaches to spiritually informed therapy. It is especially helpful, profound, on the subject of forgiveness.
I am attending seminary school and I needed the book for class. The book is just mind blowing, it opens your eyes to the depth of Christian counseling. Although the "used book" I purchased was really used; it looked worn. However the content of the book is wonderful.
